Blastmaster offers cob blasting services for log home restoration. Cob blasting is the best method for removing failing stains and finishes in order to bring out the true beauty of your log home.
What inspired you to launch your own website?
We wish to inform potential customers of the value of cob blasting and develop a larger customer base.
When did you launch your first website, and what was it?
The first website we launched was our "sister site" http://www.sodablastmaster.com This website is geared toward understanding the other services we provide, namely soda blasting.
How did you decide on a name for your website?
This name encompasses our company name "Blastmaster" but focuses on this particular area of our services.
What makes your website different from other, similar offerings?
In addition to providing insite and information about cob blasting and log home restoration services, our website includes a terrific photo gallery of before and after pictures so that people interested in having their log home cob blasted can know what to expect.
What is your eventual goal? (To sell it, keep it for income, secure a book or other mainstream media deal?)
Our goal is to continue to drive traffic to our business.
How does your investment of time and money balance against your success?
Our website has been instrumental in bringing new customers. Without this site, I don't know that we would have half the volume that we do.
If you had an unlimited development budget for development, how would you change your site?
As our business grows, we are considering branching out to many other areas of the country through franchising.
If your site got really big, really quickly, would you be able to keep up with the demand?
Yes, our site is designed to bring new customers to our business. We have plans in motion that will allow us to continue to grow as our volumes grow.
What unexpected costs and headaches have you had to deal with?
It is much more difficult to get a website's page rank up than I expected it would be.

Submiting to indexes and search engines
How has running your website differed from your expectations?
Initially I thought that a website was typically rather static and didn't change much, however I realize that it needs to be more dynamic.
