To make my website generate business leads but also to hep people who may wish to try a bit of diy as ell, there are always jobs they won't so it doesn't affect business but if they learn from my site how to do it right they'll realise I know my job.

Right now I've just started out so I'll have to pass right now but things are going in the right direction if thats what you mean.
If you had an unlimited development budget for development, how would you change your site?
I'd approach things in a bigger way.I'd still do everything on the site myself but with an unlimited budget I'd pay a top class expert to teach me quick.

Sure,I'd employ more painters or sell leads to other local painters.

Not many, the recession means it costs more per job regarding advertising costs.

Too early to say, emailing people has helped.
