Please give us a short summary of your website?
We supply some of the best solid oak, solid pine furniture available in the UK. We have been around now for some 15 years serving the local community and beyond, with huge warehouses (totalling some 50,00sq ft) and massive showrooms all tied together with freindly staff and a good service.
What inspired you to launch your own website?
In todays market it is as important to keep up with technology as it to keep up with fashion and changing trends in the furnishing trade. There is strong competition from all quarters and we have to use every weapon in the arsenal to keep ahead of the game. It is an improtant tool to let our customers know a little more about our company and a taster of the products that we can supply.
When did you launch your first website, and what was it?
The first one to be launched was our sister site www.aworldofpine.co.uk and this was primarily a "shop window" with a limited veiw of what we did and the kind of stock that we held, but enough to give people an idea of what we are about.
How did you decide on a name for your website?
We think that we are the Best, that our Prices are the most competetive and that we do sell Furniture it seemed to fit into place.
What makes your website different from other, similar offerings?
I think that we have a simplicty to our site that although is plain - it is easy to navigate and easy to read - something other sites miss when they try to get every trick in the book on the front page!!
What is your eventual goal? (To sell it, keep it for income, secure a book or other mainstream media deal?)
To grow our business and make it an even stronger player in the market - simple.
How does your investment of time and money balance against your success?
Slightly to early to tell at the moment but it will eventually start paying for itself I have every confidence in that..
What has been your biggest challenge?
I am still coming across challenges every day and every one seems to be bigger than the last so I think I will have a more definate answer in the next few months as I continue to develop the site!
How has running your website differed from your expectations?
I tis a lot more time consuming than I first imagined!
How long have you run the site already, and how long will you continue to keep it up if you don't enjoy big gains in traffic, income or popularity?
I have been working on Best Price Furniture now for around 6 months and will do so until I am satisfied that it is running as well as it possibly can.
