FloridaWaterWorksInc.com Interview

By Interviewer at 01/19/09 08:12

Maryland, any: Kleen Pool KILLS all pool algae for 6 months!

Name of your website?

FloridaWaterWorksInc.com

Your name?

Gay Barks

Your Location (city, etc)

Sanford, FL

Please give us a short summary of your website?

Wanting to inform all pool owners, pool maintenance companies and anyone that swims in a pool that all pool water has invisible spores of algae that cause swimmers ear. This is corrected by using Kleen Pool the EPA Registered Algaecide that kills all types of algae in all types of pool water for up to six months. Once Kleen pool is used all the invisible spores of algae are killed and they filter out along with the visible algae leaving a safe and algae free pool. Using Kleen Pool every 5 or 6 months will ensure an algae free pool forever.

What inspired you to launch your own website?

Florida Water Works has manufactured and sold Kleen Pool the 6 month algaecide for 20 years. Using the internet to advertise is the best vehicle to grow our sales. It is also very cost effective.

When did you launch your first website, and what was it?

2006, is the same one I have today www.floridawaterworksinc.com

How did you decide on a name for your website?

Have used the corporation's name to identify with our prospects that this corporation knows about cleaning water.

What makes your website different from other, similar offerings?

One product primarily which has been sold for more than 20 years in the US and Internationally.

What is your eventual goal? (To sell it, keep it for income, secure a book or other mainstream media deal?)

To sell it once I am ready to retire

How does your investment of time and money balance against your success?

What a product, Kleen Pool sales have produced a bottom line net of 32%. Mainly because it creates a repeat customer base since the pool owner buys it twice a year.

If you had an unlimited development budget for development, how would you change your site?

Perfect the existant webpage, create many more webpages, offer Kleen Pool to every pool owner, pool retail and pool maintenance company in the US.

If your site got really big, really quickly, would you be able to keep up with the demand?

Have owned a different company which manufactured 9000 gallons of janitorial supplies per WEEK, sold it, but do have the ability to increase production if sales grow excedingly fast. Also Kleen Pool has no shelf life as long as it doesn't freeze. Since customers re order every 5-6 months it is easy to project product demand timely and manufacture/store Kleen Pool in advance.

What unexpected costs and headaches have you had to deal with?

EPA FEES... EPA Testing, RE-Testing,,, However these cost are expensive they do ensure that the product Kleen Pool does what it says it does which is kills all algae for up to six months.

What has been your biggest challenge?

My customers are repeat sales for the last 20 years, it has been awesome to work with them and watching their sales grow as mine did. My challenge has been rewarded as I help a store grow in sales from one case of product to over 300 within their pool season. The only negative challenge was dealing with EPA as their requirements are very strict and costly.

What method has been most successful for promoting your website?

Search engines, directories, blogging, classified ads, ebay, craigslist

How has running your website differed from your expectations?

Traffic is harder to obtain without high cost.

How long have you run the site already, and how long will you continue to keep it up if you don't enjoy big gains in traffic, income or popularity?

Since it begain, it isn't real fancy because I had to create it, and am not very experienced in that field. I don't ever want to shut it down, just drastically improve it.

Replace this with a question of your own

Would anyone experienced want to assist to improve my website, provide a marketing campain to promote Kleen Pool sales for commisons on the new sales made?

What is your website address?

FloridaWaterWorksInc.com
