What inspired you to launch your own website?

Offer our customers more information and pictures to they can make a more informed decision when it comes to which pressure washing company to use.

How did you decide on a name for your website?

SEO. I wish it were more creative or whitty, but its precise, simple and easy to remember.

What makes your website different from other, similar offerings?

My website is top of the line not only in visual appeal but also in the information it offers. Beautiful flash elements incorporate beatiful pictures. The site explains the problem, why the problem needs to be fixed, and why you should hire me to fix it. Most pressure washing websites are missing these elements. The site offers before and after pictures so customers have clear expectations and it offers prices for the same reason.

What is your eventual goal? (To sell it, keep it for income, secure a book or other mainstream media deal?)

The same site could be fit for any city (see Katy, The Woodlands, Sugar Land, Cypress, Conroe, Friendswood, Pearland) I would like to be the 1-800-GOT-JUNK of pressure washing. The parent concept, Pressure Washing America could be a nationwide web concept helping other pressure washing companies enjoy the online success that I have.

How does your investment of time and money balance against your success?

I've invested very little money, maybe $1000 total in 2008...including a total rework of the sites. Time is spent mostly at leisure, building links, working on SEO and doing things just like this. This year the company has seen about eight to ten times last years revenue.

What unexpected costs and headaches have you had to deal with?

Google! Doesn't like multiple sites that look and feel the same. Thus it punnished all the sites that are otherwise almost perfect from a SEO standpoint.

What has been your biggest challenge?

What method has been most successful for promoting your website?

Figure out how to build a site that will rank well on the search engines and then figure out how to make it look good. In that order!
