Glass-info.com offers glass industry and products info & news, and information on glassware manufacturers & suppliers and glasswork trade news.
What inspired you to launch your own website?
Many glass product manufacturers & suppliers in our country do not have an ideal opportunity to make buyers know them although they have top quality and fine-designed glass products, such as architectural & building glass, glass arts, glassworks & glasswares, glass vase and tablewares. So we made a judicious decision to launch our site, glass-info, to help those excellent glass companies and factories promote their sales.
When did you launch your first website, and what was it?
About 1999. At that time, the business on Internet was in his earlier and poor condition. Only a few businessmen knew sth. about doing business through Internet. We made an online yellowpage for glass products manufacturers. This yellow page online was the grandfather of glass-info.com although it was closed in 2001.
How did you decide on a name for your website?
Info is short for information. So the term, glass info, means information about glass.
What makes your website different from other, similar offerings?
It's a well known site in glass industry, which is dedicated to provide glass related information only.
What is your eventual goal? (To sell it, keep it for income, secure a book or other mainstream media deal?)
Keep it for income if we have a good luck forever.
How does your investment of time and money balance against your success?
A little good luck. I think so.
If you had an unlimited development budget for development, how would you change your site?
Maybe not change my site, but do some other investment.
If your site got really big, really quickly, would you be able to keep up with the demand?
It's difficult to answer, but we'll try our best.

Busy all day long for answering calls from premium members.
What has been your biggest challenge?
How to accompany my wife for most of my time, cause I'm too busy.

Oral prestige marketing.
