    Name of your website?

    A Custom Electric

    Your name?

    Michael James

    Your Location (city, etc)

    Los Angeles

    Electrical Contractor advertisement

What inspired you to launch your own website?

Advertising. Everyone is using the web to find services that they are looking for.

When did you launch your first website, and what was it?

2007. The web page that I have poste3d

How did you decide on a name for your website?

Name of my company. I started out doing custom electrical installations and hence the name of my business. We are still very good at it, if not one of the best in Los Angeles.

What makes your website different from other, similar offerings?

I'm honest and I care about my clients and say so.

What is your eventual goal? (To sell it, keep it for income, secure a book or other mainstream media deal?)

    Keep it!

How does your investment of time and money balance against your success?

It's been better since I started to study SEO and take over some of the advert. leg work myself.

If you had an unlimited development budget for development, how would you change your site?

I am in the process of redevelopment now.

What unexpected costs and headaches have you had to deal with?

Clients trying not paying. Parts manufactured poorly. Finding good help has been a huge problem.

What has been your biggest challenge?

Getting my business past the point of being able to maintain 6 men.

What method has been most successful for promoting your website?

    Links. Google AdWords, SEO, SEM

How has running your website differed from your expectations?

    A lot more work

How long have you run the site already, and how long will you continue to keep it up if you don't enjoy big gains in traffic, income or popularity?

I've been running it for a month now and I am seeing more constant results, instead of a big flurry of activity at the beginning of the month (when an ad campaign starts) and then nothing for two weeks (when after the ad campaign stops).

Replace this with a question of your own

    Why all of he questions?

    What is your website address?

    A Custom Electric
