Name of your website? Golden Sun Windows and Doors Your name? Norman Your Location (city, etc) Toronto Please give us a short summary of your website? Our website describles all the products and services our comapny is providing to the people in the Greater Toronto areas. It gives our clients to see the different styles of windows, doors and jobs that we have done before. What inspired you to launch your own website? I believe a company with a website will do better business than one without. It is like having a second location working 24 hours a day with very little costs. When did you launch your first website, and what was it? This is my first website which I launched over a month ago. How did you decide on a name for your website? I chose this name "Golden Sun" because I think the sun will bring me a bright future. It seems that it will give me lots of energy to built our company. What makes your website different from other, similar offerings? Our wdebsite actually consists of not just windows and doors services. It also provides information on full service home improvements such as interior and exterior renovations. Examples like: roofing, sidings, water-proofing, hardwood floor, cabines building and plumbing etc. What is your eventual goal? (To sell it, keep it for income, secure a book or other mainstream media deal?) We will keep this website unless we sell the company. How does your investment of time and money balance against your success? Right now, it is still far from success since we just started launching this website. If you had an unlimited development budget for development, how would you change your site? I would add online shopping and also a design center which provides other hardware services. If your site got really big, really quickly, would you be able to keep up with the demand? Well, I hope this won't happen very fast becasuse I only have a limited budget for the development. What unexpected costs and headaches have you had to deal with? To keep updating the site with new information and try to list our website by the search engines in the first 10 positions of the search results. What has been your biggest challenge? To make our website more popular to the people searching for our services. What method has been most successful for promoting your website? We try to list the website to all the free search engines. Also advertising in newspaper. How has running your website differed from your expectations? I don't get the site traffic that I expect right now! How long have you run the site already, and how long will you continue to keep it up if you don't enjoy big gains in traffic, income or popularity? Less than 2 months and it will be running.
