Please give us a short summary of your website?

We are a professional carpet and upholstery cleaning company based in Sutton Col;dfield. We provide a service to domestic clients throughout the Midlands and provide a service to commercial clients throughout the UK.

What inspired you to launch your own website?

To give potential clients a better insight into our company and the services we offer and to extend our service area.

When did you launch your first website, and what was it?

We launched this site in January 2008 and it was our first attempt

How did you decide on a name for your website?

The company name is The Sutton Carpet Cleaning Co.

What makes your website different from other, similar offerings?

It portrays a professional image

What is your eventual goal? (To sell it, keep it for income, secure a book or other mainstream media deal?)

To keep it

How does your investment of time and money balance against your success?

So far,very poorly

If you had an unlimited development budget for development, how would you change your site?

I would employ a tele sales team and put a team of canvassers on the road

If your site got really big, really quickly, would you be able to keep up with the demand?

Yes, I would just bring in sub contractors

What unexpected costs and headaches have you had to deal with?

Nothing out of the ordinary. This is probably down to detailed planning

What has been your biggest challenge?

To keep going when business was failing to come in

What method has been most successful for promoting your website?

Ad words

How has running your website differed from your expectations?

I have had difficulty in promoting it to the top of the listings with Google. The only way I stay there is as a sponsered listing.

How long have you run the site already, and how long will you continue to keep it up if you don't enjoy big gains in traffic, income or popularity?

I have run the site since January this year and will run it for as long as the business is still operational
