My website explains the carpet cleaning services that I specialize in. What inspired you to launch your own website? I knew that having a quality website would generate more business for me and make it easier for customers in my area to find me. When did you launch your first website, and what was it? This is it. How did you decide on a name for your website? It is the name of my business. What makes it different from other, similar offerings? Mountain Best is a nationally certified carpet cleaning firm with over 14 years of experience. We have the best prices in our area. What is your eventual goal? (To sell it, keep it for income, secure a book or other mainstream media deal?) We plan on keeping this website active to generate income. How does your investment of time and money balance against your success? It is quite favorable to us as we have a lot of help. If you had an unlimited development budget for development, how would you change your site? Yes. We would make it a bit fancier and do much more advertisement. If your site got really big, really quickly, would you be able to keep up with the demand? Absolutely. What unexpected costs and headaches have you had to deal with? The company that is hosting our site have been a little hard to get a hold of. What has been your biggest challenge? Learning the whole process. What method has been most successful for promoting your website? Websites just like this one. How has running your website differed from your expectations? It's about what we expected it to be. We hoped to have a little more control over the content. How long have you run the site already, and how long will you continue to keep it up if you don't enjoy big gains in traffic, income or popularity? This site is brand new.
