    Name of your website?

    California Custom Pool Builders

    Your name?

    Louise S

    Your Location (city, etc)

Orange County, Riverside County & San Bernardino County

Please give us a short summary of your website?

California custom inground pool contractor. Tropical or traditional designed pools, spas, waterfalls and more designed and built by professional pool builders specializing in work for Southern California.

What inspired you to launch your own website?

We wanted to offer complete pool packages with online photos and pricing so it would be easy for anyone to get a custom pool installed at competitive pricing without the hassle currently associated with other pool builders. Our pricing is straightforward and our construction time is very fast.

When did you launch your first website, and what was it?

Poolsbywaterworld.com has been online for several years and the company is doing well because the customers have appreciated the online pricing and quality construction we provide.

How did you decide on a name for your website?

The website name goes along with our company name, Waterworld Industries Inc.

What makes it different from other, similar offerings?

We are very different than other companies because we have REAL pricing and REAL fast construction times. Our prices are for complete pools with top of the line equipment, no shortcuts in construction, no games, just high quality swimming pools constructed at competitive prices.

What is your eventual goal? (To sell it, keep it for income, secure a book or other mainstream media deal?)

We intend to expand our pool specials in order to provide even more packages from which consumers can choose for their backyard pool construction.

How does your investment of time and money balance against your success?

Thankfully, we have been very successful with this method of straightforward pricing and our customers are very happy. We try to build every pool as though it was for our own backyard and to provide quality service during the construction process. Most of our work is from referrals so we are very happy that people send us referrals as it usually means we did everything right for them. We want to always keep the customer in mind first.

If you had an unlimited development budget for development, how would you change your site?

We wouldn't make any changes, everything is going along well and we are content with the way things are.

If your site got really big, really quickly, would you be able to keep up with the demand?

We are staffed to handle our volume, we wouldn't take on more work than we could complete as promised to our customers. Fortunately our staff is highly trained and experienced in the industry and this helps to meet the needs of our customers. Our customers are our main concern and we try to see that every one is happy with the service we provide and with their completed project.

What unexpected costs and headaches have you had to deal with?

There hasn't been any real unexpected costs or headaches to speak of. Occasionally there are cases where the construction site is difficult but since we have been building pools for many years, the experience factor has helped with these issues.

What has been your biggest challenge?

We have thousands of pool designs that could be posted and it is a big challenge to decide on which might be the most popular. We have quite a few special pools online but it is really unlimited what can be done and it is all up to what the customer wants to have built for their backyard recreation area.

What method has been most successful for promoting your website?

We have evolved through various methods of website promotion and it is difficult to say what has been the most successful.

How has running your website differed from your expectations?

Running the website is always interesting and it is an ongoing process. We didn't have any expectations going into the online world so therefore it hasn't been any change in what we expected. We didn't expect anything but things are coming along quite nicely.

How long have you run the site already, and how long will you continue to keep it up if you don't enjoy big gains in traffic, income or popularity?

The website has been up for several years and so long as we continue to be in business we will keep it going and hopefully make it better and better.

    What areas do you work?

We work in Southern California, Orange County, Riverside County and San Bernardino County. Additionally some areas of LA County which are near to Orange County. We often get requests to work in other areas and depending on the location and project level, said requests are considered on a case by case basis.

    What is your website address?
