Please give us a short summary of your website?

What inspired you to launch your own website?

The Web is an excellent extra avenue to market my services

When did you launch your first website, and what was it?

Aprox Nov 5th 2007 (9 days ago)

How did you decide on a name for your website?

My first name followed by my keywords, IE: Dan's San Gabriel Valley Painting

What makes it different from other, similar offerings?

Our website is very different from any other painter's website. We offer not only great residential painting, but promote the use of energy-efficient paints and coatings. Take a look at our content and you'll notice it's all original, one of a kind. Please visit us!

What is your eventual goal? (To sell it, keep it for income, secure a book or other mainstream media deal?)

To make a living and help promote "green" energy saving coatings.

How does your investment of time and money balance against your success?

We've invested a very nominal amount of money into the website and an extreme amount of time. We built the website, did all the original content, I'm here helping to accomplish some of the never-ending SEO work

If you had an unlimited development budget for development, how would you change your site?

I would hire a dependable assistant to help me with the backlinking, it is an intensive labor of love!

If your site got really big, really quickly, would you be able to keep up with the demand?

I hope so, and if not, I can hire and delegate, delegate, delegate....

What unexpected costs and headaches have you had to deal with?

None, this is not our first website.

What has been your biggest challenge?

As always: the backlinking

What method has been most successful for promoting your website?

Search Engine Optimization, search Google for "San Gabriel Valley Painting Contractor" and you'll notice we are on the first page.

How has running your website differed from your expectations?

None, it's just another aspect of marketing my business

How long have you run the site already, and how long will you continue to keep it up if you don't enjoy big gains in traffic, income or popularity?

9 days, I intend to keep it as long as it provides contacts that want painting.

Replace this with a question of your own

I have no questions, but do want to thank you for making me think. Your questions are very good!

What is your website address?
