    Name of your website?

    Dan's Pool Catering

    Your name?

    Dan Easterly

    Your Location (city, etc)

    Phoenix, Arizona

Please give us a short summary of your website?

My website is about swimming pool service and maintenance and repairing pool equipment. There are many helpful topics for people to learn more about swimming pool maintenance.

What inspired you to launch your own website?

Having a website is critical in today's economy to reach potential customers that have a need for the service we provide.

When did you launch your first website, and what was it?

I launched my first website in August of 2009. It was Danspoolcatering.com

How did you decide on a name for your website?

It is the same as my business name.

What makes your website different from other, similar offerings?

Most people are attracted to my menu of weekly pool services inspired by our name Dan's Pool Catering and our motto " We Cater to Your Pool's Need's "

What is your eventual goal? (To sell it, keep it for income, secure a book or other mainstream media deal?)

To build the largest and most respected pool service company in Phoenix.

How does your investment of time and money balance against your success?

We have been blessed with much success. We strive to go the extra mile whenever dealing with customers and I think we always exceed their expectations.

If your site got really big, really quickly, would you be able to keep up with the demand?

I employ a few people now and am looking to hire another as we speak. After putting out a help wanted ad, in this economy, the response is overwhelming on how many people want work. I believe handling growth is of course a challenge but we are larger than 90% of pool companies already so I think I do a pretty good job of handling growth and managing workers and of course taking care of the customers needs.

What unexpected costs and headaches have you had to deal with?

I've recently spent thousands of dollars on an SEO company that provided me and continues to provide me with no useful service. I'm still hoping they figure something out but am taking matters into my own hands.

What has been your biggest challenge?

Figuring out how to get a presence on the organic side of google search engines has been my biggest web marketing challenge.

What method has been most successful for promoting your website?

So far, Google Adwords has been my biggest success on the web. I designed and created my own ads and have done fairly well with it although I'm sure theres room for improvement.

How has running your website differed from your expectations?

There is so much to know about website optimization, it will be a long learning process.

How long have you run the site already, and how long will you continue to keep it up if you don't enjoy big gains in traffic, income or popularity?

My ROI has been good so far but if it wasn't, I would not see the point of continuing to spend this kind of money on something not producing.

Where do you see yourself in 5-10 years.

In 5-10 years, I will have around 800 - 1000 happy customers and a reputation all over Phoenix that Dan's Pool Catering is an honest and reasonably priced pool service company that cares about the customer and of course their pools as if they were his own.

    What is your website address?

    Dan's Pool Catering
