This web site is an educational resource for home owners. You will find information about residential roof replacements and repairs, when to replace your roof and how to choose a contractor.
The website also explains all the different components which form a "Complete Roof System".
What inspired you to launch your own website?
Websites are, simply put, a necessity for professional companies. In addition to this, I wanted to create a content rich resource for home owners to educate themselves about their roof.
When did you launch your first website, and what was it?
I launched my first website in 2003. It was a website geared towards promoting events to business people. The events were a mix of live entertainment, key note speakers, tradeshow, networking and food for everyone.
How did you decide on a name for your website?
When choosing a name for my company and my website, I wanted to create something clear and memorable. Calgary Roofing Contractors is very clear, and Roof Hospital is memorable, as well as clear. These names seemed to be the simplest and most efficient choice.
What makes your website different from other, similar offerings?
Many local contractors do not have a whole lot of educational content in their sites. I find many contractors web sites are focused on promoting themselves/selling themselves. What is your eventual goal? (To sell it, keep it for income, secure a book or other mainstream media deal?)
I intend to keep this website operational for many years to come, and to continue allowing it to generate interest in my business.
How does your investment of time and money balance against your success?
This website was only recently launched. It has indeed aided with the sales process when working with my clients. It is fair to say this website has notably increased my closing ratio in the sales process. As the monetary investment into this site was quite low, the ROI it has generated is quite acceptable.
