It is sad to know that even in the home improvement industry, some people still have the guts to commit fraud. In this industry, what most of these scam artists will do is to take the hard-earned money of the victims as downpayment, and then walk away from the project. These kinds of projects are largely difficult to prosecute since they have an excuse: the project is still underway.
