Please give us a short summary of your website?
Its basically a summary of all of our contractor services that we provide to all of new jersey. Things like our residential services like driveway paving & concrete sidewalk services. It also has our portfolio & customer comments & pictures.
What inspired you to launch your own website?
We wanted to have more exposure & be able to show our past works as a reference for our customers to see.
When did you launch your first website, and what was it?
Our first website was launched in may of 2009. It was the site that you see now.
How did you decide on a name for your website?
Checchio paving is the name of our company, since it was available we decided to use it.
What makes your website different from other, similar offerings?
Our website is much more thorough than your average construction company websites. We have a page & picture for every service we provide and unlike the other sites out there, the pictures you see are our actual work.
What is your eventual goal? (To sell it, keep it for income, secure a book or other mainstream media deal?)
To keep adding our works to the pages & make it bigger.
How does your investment of time and money balance against your success?
We are very organized company & out balance of time vs the amount of money is very proportionate. You get in what you put out.
If you had an unlimited development budget for development, how would you change your site?
I would turn it into an online community where homeowners & business owners could exchange ideas on designs & advice.
If your site got really big, really quickly, would you be able to keep up with the demand?
Of course we could, our webmaster is one of the best in the industry.
What unexpected costs and headaches have you had to deal with?
None really.
What has been your biggest challenge?
Getting adequate pictures of all our works & updating them to the site.
What method has been most successful for promoting your website?
Basic seo work, such as linking & banner exchanges. Blogs etc.
How has running your website differed from your expectations?
None really.
How long have you run the site already, and how long will you continue to keep it up if you don't enjoy big gains in traffic, income or popularity?
It has been up for one and a half months & will continue to be up for generations to come. This is a family business.
Do you reccomend being on NJ classified website like ours?
Yes, definitely has increased our page rank & new hits to our site.
