Interior lighting is essential to creating the mood that you like at home. If you want to add some drama or create that romantic mood, perhaps you should add a dimmer so you can dim your pin lights a bit. If you want a fun atmosphere, maybe you can use bright lights accentuated by bright wall painting or fun wall papers. Generally, using pastel color for your walls create a cool mood. Then you can use proper light for that cool and subdued mood.
