Choosing the Right Color for Kids' Bedrooms

I have a son and a daughter and both of them have separate bedrooms. They have their own taste in improving their bedroom. I just admire them the way they maintain the neatness and cleanliness of their bedrooms, respectively. My daughter's favourite colour is green so basically most of her stuff, walls, and curtains are green. It is not exactly dark green. The colour of the room is simply light green. On the other hand, my son likes blue, so I painted his room using light blue paint. Well, they really like it.
