I live in Tokyo and the summers here are sweltering hot and terribly humid at the same time. Being a native of Canada, I melt in this weather which traps this city in it's deathly grip for literally six months of the year. I thus have a huge problem with sweat stained clothes and it seems like every year I'm throwing out clothes I bought the spring prior to prepare for the summer. It seems like a waste of money but until now I've taken an "It can't be helped" attitude towards the issue. We do this in our house. After endless fights about getting the kids to do their set daily chores, we decided to mix it up using this "glass jar" method of doling out housework.
