Winter in the Philippines

Of course, there is no winter in the Philippines because we only have two seasons here and that is wet and wetter, as some analysts would say. Seriously, we only have wet and dry season here although it would have been nice to have winter for a change.

Signature Design

Hello there! I am an architect and I am actually looking for new possible bathroom designs where I could get some inspiration. I know that the competition in our industry is very stiff that we need to discover new creations or create our own unique designs for that matter. I have a client who wants to have her bathroom design very unique and she wants me to personally design it. She also wants that I make it my signature design after I design hers.

Safety at home

Home is supposed to be our refuge. It is where we feel that we are most safe. At least that's the ideal situation. But often, what is ideal is not the actual situation.

Achieving safety for our children in our very own home is often one of the most challenging. We have to keep our children safe from any form of harm and accidents at home without having to put them in a cage.

Lock all doors, cover all power outlets, keep all sharp objects and harmful chemicals and always look after your children to keep them safe.

Mirror on The Wall

Hi there! We are actually redecorating our house and all the rooms in it, including mine. My space is actually limited and our interior decorator told me that in order for us to create illusion of a wider space, we would need to use some mirrors. I think this is what other professional decorators are doing. Mirrors can also make the room look brighter.

The excitement of furnishing your home

Isn't it thrilling to furnish your new home? Actually, it doesn't have to be new. Just buying new furniture or redesigning even your existing home is already exciting.

It's probably the thought of starting anew that gives us that thrill. It brings tremendous hope to the homeowner. We can start anew and take it from there, we think.

Admit it. I'm sure you consult the internet and browse a lot of furniture magazines and do a lot of window shopping to choose the right furniture and interior design. It's like choosing your own adventure.

Our New Paint Door hardware

I really appreciate those tips which is posting here. It was a big help on us especially this week we are going to have a party in our house but then I am very worry regarding with our door hardware because it was slightly damaged. Therefore, I applied your tips and I really saved a lot of money. Instead of buying a new door hardware which is very expensive we just simply paint our door with a brown color and it really worth it. It also looks like a brand new door.

Remodeling a house before selling it

I do agree that it helps to remodel a house if you are about to sell it to increase its market value. However, the extent of remodeling that has to be done depends on the state of the house just before it is about to be sold.
