the fortress 5 is designed to protect the home and buildings from hurricane winds. the website will show how to protect the roof structure. the roof is the most critical part of the building.
What inspired you to launch your own website?
to save homes and buildings and lives from hurricane that destroy. and to show how hirricane winds destroy the home structure. and to give people a chance to save there home; with the products that can be orderd
When did you launch your first website, and what was it?
the website is www.fortress five.com and it was public 2007 it took me 5 years to do the research on how and why hurricanes destroy building structures.
How did you decide on a name for your website?
fortress 5 was a name that fits the product the harness is a fortress that protects the whole home from the roof down to the ground and 5 is the force of the hurricane.
What makes it different from other, similar offerings?
the fortress 5 protects the roof structure shingles and tiles the harness also covers the windows and doors.hurricane shutters only protect the windows. to save the home you must protect the roof windows and doors.
What is your eventual goal? (To sell it, keep it for income, secure a book or other mainstream media deal?)
sell the product to people that can't get hurricane insurance to give people a chance to save there home. with the money i make i will buy a building to houses and feed people that don't have a place to live and that building will have the fortress 5 protecting it

If you had an unlimited development budget for development, how would you change your site?
if i had the right budget i would get the right colleges that would help me with more research on hurricane wind testing labs that can test other ways to protect buildings from high winds. but that takes money; maby there might be some one that has an intrust in hurricane protection and saving buildings if so contact mike 623-937-9822 dianepassport@cs.com
If your site got really big, really quickly, would you be able to keep up with the demand?
the manufactors can make any amount and any size needed to protect the home or building.
What unexpected costs and headaches have you had to deal with?
tying to find the right manufactures that can sew through the material that is needed to protect the home took a lot o time i only found 2or 3 in the whole us special machines had to be used that not many sewers know how to use. advertising is very lostly.
What has been your biggest challenge?
the biggest challenge is just to find the right people from patents to advertising there is so many company that take advantage of you.
What method has been most successful for promoting your website?
promoting your web site can be a problem if you have enough money it can be easy.
How has running your website differed from your expectations?
you need a website if you have a business if you don't things are hard stay in business.
How long have you run the site already, and how long will you continue to keep it up if you don't enjoy big gains in traffic, income or popularity?
the website has been up from 2007 people need to know how to protect the structure.
