In order to increase their homes' resale value, the owner of the house usually do some home renovations before selling it. But honestly, it contributes only a little to the resale price. The best thing to do is to keep it as though you are planning to sell it in the future. There are other considerations before renovating your home. Adding in swimming pools, extensive landscaping and overbuilding, carpeting and new wallpapers and many others. There are many reasons why you just can't do the renovations right away.
