    Name of your website?

    Quality Contractors

    Your name?

    Paul Phee

    Your Location (city, etc)

    Edmonton, Alberta.

Please give us a short summary of your website?

Our company offers a variety of services to homeowners and construction companies

What inspired you to launch your own website?

Easy way to profile the services we offer and to save of distribution & printing cost

When did you launch your first website, and what was it?

    This is it

How did you decide on a name for your website?

We emphasize "quality" in our work and wanted our name to speak to this and our attitude towards providing not just contract work but "quality" work.

What makes your website different from other, similar offerings?

We like to use pictures as they are better able to show that we have the equipment to do a quality job and that we do not operate old tired machinary but rather mostly new or newer equipment.

What is your eventual goal? (To sell it, keep it for income, secure a book or other mainstream media deal?)

Grow our business relationships by doing quality work for a reasonable price.

How does your investment of time and money balance against your success?

At this point it does not. Good things take time and lots of hard work.

If you had an unlimited development budget for development, how would you change your site?

I am happy with it the way it is. I would consider the placement of webcams at our job-site to allow our customers to log onto the site to see how we are progressing

If your site got really big, really quickly, would you be able to keep up with the demand?

Our site is primarily a brochure of our service and expect the site to generate phone calls, emails and opportunities to bid on jobs.

What unexpected costs and headaches have you had to deal with?

Labour and reliable employees are the biggest problem in this industry. Also getting paid by some customers once the work is done can be a big problem.

What has been your biggest challenge?

The general slowdown in the economy

What method has been most successful for promoting your website?

    Free advertising

How has running your website differed from your expectations?

It has been what i expected

How long have you run the site already, and how long will you continue to keep it up if you don't enjoy big gains in traffic, income or popularity?

The site is only a few months old and is a work in progress

    Why is a website important

it provides our potential customers the ability to connect with us without looking for a old or outdated brochure or contact info.

    What is your website address?
