To Provide educate, inform and offer our company to serve the residents of Montgomery County Maryland. We also have a Blog to discuss issues effecvtign Contracotrs and Homeowners in Montgomery County Md. http://caryelectric.blogspot.com/ We also have downloads available to help homeowners Pamphlets written by the Consummer Product Safety Commision on Aluminum wiring and what every homeowner should know about their home electrical system and things to take into account toprevent Electrical Hazzards.
What inspired you to launch your own website?
I belive its the way we in the business community will interact with our customers in the future

A few weeks ago
How did you decide on a name for your website?
SOmeone stole Cary Electric.com and wants to sell it back so I added the company to the name
What makes your website different from other, similar offerings?
it has educational elements
What is your eventual goal? (To sell it, keep it for income, secure a book or other mainstream media deal?)
hopefully to educate the public on issues related to their electrical needs and to build Good Will for my business.
How does your investment of time and money balance against your success?
It hasn't yet
If you had an unlimited development budget for development, how would you change your site?
not sure I understand your question but if you mean about my site I would hire professional help in the design of the site. and possiblymake ita little more interadtive. I will soon be adding a page where customers may answer a few questions and there will be a spread sheet that provides customers with load calculations, so people may learn if their homes are overloaded and need upgrading.
If your site got really big, really quickly, would you be able to keep up with the demand?

What unexpected costs and headaches have you had to deal with?
Its a learnign Curve, when I first created the site, I incuded a discusion page where people could ask me questions. It was soon taken over by the porn industry adding over 9000 url to porn sites. I immediatly removed the discusion page and incuded a Blog instead.
What has been your biggest challenge?
Learnign how to navigate the website optimization. I am still learnign the algorythm required to get seen on the first pages of the search engines.
What method has been most successful for promoting your website?
Non to date, still learning
How has running your website differed from your expectations?
Likke everything in life its a learnign curve, I enjoy learnign and being challenged
How long have you run the site already, and how long will you continue to keep it up if you don't enjoy big gains in traffic, income or popularity?
I have taken classes on basic website building and have run the site for a short while. I hope to keep it up indeffinately and improve it.
